The standard support is used only for open loading and is designed to mount the top loading standpipe onto the tank car manhole. Another function of the support is to accommodate the installation of a vibrational high-level alarm, for which a locking mechanism and a protective cylinder are provided. The protective cylinder has several openings to ensure the product level inside the tank car is equal to that inside the cylinder. The alarm is installed at the required height into a 21.8 mm hole with clearance and secured using a clamping handle.
