Flexible power cables are designed for both stationary and non-stationary installation, for connecting mobile machines (such as lifting cranes, hoists, welding machines, etc.), mechanisms, and equipment to electrical networks and mobile power sources. They operate at a nominal AC voltage of 380 and 660 V with a frequency of up to 400 Hz or a DC voltage of 750 and 1000 V, respectively.
The cable insulation and sheath are made of thermoplastic elastomers based on styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene (SEBS), providing excellent resistance to mechanical operational loads, high temperatures, ozone, and ultraviolet radiation.
The operating temperature range of the cables is from minus 60°C to plus 80°C. The operating temperature for different cable types is specified in Table 2.
The bending radius during installation and operation must be at least 6 times the outer diameter.
The service life of the cables is at least 4 years.
The warranty period of operation is 6 months.
The cable’s conductive cores are made of copper or tinned copper, multi-wire, round in shape, and correspond to flexibility class 5 or 6 according to GOST 22483-2012.
The cables are manufactured with main cores of equal cross-section, ranging from 1 to 36 cores, and may also include 1 to 3 smaller cross-section cores (neutral or grounding) or 1 to 12 auxiliary cores. The number and nominal cross-section of the cores are specified in Table 1.
The color coding of the insulated cores complies with the requirements of GOST 24334-80 and is reflected in Table 3. Numeric marking with sequential numbering of same-colored cores is also possible.
The insulated cores are twisted into a bundle with a binding polymer film.
The cable sheath fills the free space between the cores, forming inter-core filling (in accordance with GOST 24334-80 and GOST 31945-2012) and giving the cable a round shape.
