JSC Kazenergokabel was established in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On the Development and Conversion of the Defense Industry”, the program for the development of processing industries, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan and included in the list of priority investment projects. The plant is located in the center of the industrial region of Kazakhstan. The enterprise has all the necessary infrastructure – it has modern buildings: production, administrative, warehouse, as well as a utility building and various auxiliary premises. The plant is equipped with modern production and technological equipment. JSC Kazenergokabel began producing the first batches of products – mainly uninsulated conductors, in 1994, while simultaneously constructing the buildings of the enterprise.
In 1999, the organization began industrial production of cable and wire products of various assortments.
The plant is equipped with modern production and technological equipment, and automation and control facilities, ensuring the production of high-quality products that undergo mandatory and voluntary certification CT-KZ, certificates of conformity and are used at the largest construction sites in Kazakhstan.
The enterprise actively participates in the government program for import substitution, has been repeatedly recognized as the best in many competitions, has many diplomas, awards and letters of thanks.

JSC “Kazenergokabel,” as a domestic manufacturer, actively participates in initiatives to increase the share of Kazakhstani content in procurement processes carried out by enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Our company holds certificates of origin in the ST-KZ format for all manufactured products, indicating a Kazakhstani content share ranging from 70% to 100%. It is registered in the Register of Domestic Manufacturers maintained by JSC “Sovereign Wealth Fund Samruk-Kazyna” and is also listed in the Register of Reliable Suppliers. As of today, JSC “Kazenergokabel” provides consumers with a wide range of products, including power, control, and telephone cables; installation, overhead, trolley, and telephone wires; wires for industrial blasting operations; distribution telephone wires for rural telephone network radiofication; as well as installation wires for submersible electric motors, multi-wire steel conductors for overhead power transmission lines, heating cables, steel-reinforced cables, and more.
In 2006, the investment project “Expansion of Cable and Conductor Production with the Organization of Telephone Wire and XLPE-Insulated Power Cable Manufacturing” was fully completed. The project was financed through the company’s own funds, with the involvement of foreign investments and a loan from the Development Bank of Kazakhstan, with a total cost of $12.8 million. Its implementation doubled the plant’s production capacity and created 150 additional jobs.
In 2010, with financial support from LLP “Kazakhmys Corporation,” the investment project “Production of Aluminum Rods” was implemented as part of the State Program for Accelerated Industrial and Innovative Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2010-2014. This project has helped reduce dependency on foreign raw material suppliers, increase the share of Kazakhstani content in cables and wires with aluminum conductors, and lower material costs for cable and conductor production.
In 2017, the production of KGTP and KGTP-KHL cables with thermoelastoplast insulation and sheathing was mastered. These cables are full analogs of the Russian KG and KG-KHL brands, with technical characteristics that surpass their Russian counterparts.
In 2018, a project for the serial production of aluminum alloy cables and wires was successfully implemented. This allows end consumers to significantly reduce costs when purchasing products that are comparable in performance to copper alternatives. Additionally, the production of cables based on halogen-free compositions was developed, ensuring that the products fully comply with global fire safety standards regarding flame spread prevention.
At present, the company is working on mastering the production of fiber optic cables.
Continuous improvement of technology, the use of advanced materials, the development of new types of cable and wire products, and the implementation of a computerized order planning and quality control system enable the company to fulfill production orders in the shortest possible time, set flexible pricing, and supply high-quality products.
A high level of quality stability is achieved through the production of products in compliance with international and intergovernmental standards, the procurement of high-quality raw materials, the use of imported equipment, the application of modern technologies, and the implementation of a quality management system in accordance with ISO 9000 series standards. In 2004, the plant received a certificate of compliance with the ISO 9001-2001 quality management system from the Republic of Kazakhstan. In January 2005, it obtained an international certificate of quality management system compliance from KEMA Quality B.V. (Netherlands), which has been issued by DEKRA Certification B.V. (Netherlands) since 2011.
