The system is designed to measure the level of hydrocarbon vapor concentration in indoor and outdoor environments.
The gas hazard level monitoring system is a stationary, high-speed (Group I-1), automatic, multi-channel, continuous-operation gas analyzer, consisting of the PK-12-N-01 control panel and explosion-proof (explosion protection type 2ExeIIT4) infrared gas sensors DZI-K-01 (plastic housing) or DZI-K-02 (metal housing). The DZI-K-01 sensor is connected to the control panel via an interface cable and the KEx-01 terminal box. The DZI-K-02 sensor is connected directly to the communication cable through terminals located inside the sensor.
The control panel is housed in a standard 19″ crate, installed in a rack with a protection rating of at least IP20 in a non-hazardous area, and is equipped with KM-01 channel modules at the rate of 1 module per sensor (up to 12 channel modules maximum). The gas sensors are installed in the area where gas concentration levels are to be measured. Depending on the type of gas the sensor is intended to detect, a suffix is added to the sensor model designation: NG for petroleum gases; PG for natural gases.
